Previously confirmed for the Mexican market, Chevrolet presents in our country the new Aveo 2024which is a new generation that will now be available in both sedan and hatchback, being the first time that the 5-door is offered in our country.
Like its predecessor, this car is imported from China, and presents important improvements in areas such as safety, connectivity and interior space. According to the brand, the new Chevrolet Aveo 2024 stands out for the grill that has details in combination of chrome and glossy black, aluminum wheels with two-tone design and halogen headlights with projector and LED daytime running lights integrated into the same design of the headlight .
Chevrolet Aveo 2024: Interior space
General Motors ensures that the new Aveo will be a benchmark in terms of space and habitability. Its large capacity trunk stands out (the volume will be released later), in addition the rear seats are 100% foldable to increase this volume and it has an ambient lamp for the cargo space. It is worth mentioning that in the previous model the seats could not recline.
Chevrolet Aveo 2024: Connectivity and equipment
For the first time, Aveo integrates an 8” touch screen, with Bluetooth, AM/FM and USB reader functions, additional smartphone integration, compatible with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, as well as a 4-speaker audio system. It also has an air conditioning system with automatic control.

From now on it incorporates 6 airbags in all versions, also highlighting disc brakes and 4-wheel ABS, tire pressure monitoring system, seat belt alert in all positions, as well as camera and sensors reverse; attributes that place it as a benchmark in safety equipment in its segment.

The new Aveo is powered by a powertrain that integrates a 1.5L Four-Cylinder engine with 98 hp and 105 lb-ft of torque, which is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a simulated six-speed CVT automatic. .
Chevrolet Aveo 2024: Versions
The Aveo Hatchback reaches the Mexican market in 3 versions: LS Manual (exclusively for fleet customers), LT Manual and LT Plus. For the hatchback version, the color will be exclusively available “Hello Yellow”. While the Aveo Sedan is also presented in 3 versions: LS Manual, LT Manual and LT Plus.
The details of the start of sales in Mexico, as well as the launch prices, will be announced later. The interesting thing will be to see how General Motors manages to reconfigure its product lineup, since without a doubt, this new Aveo 2024 is a pleasant evolution that could put the Onix in troubleespecially in the versions with a 1.3-liter naturally aspirated engine.
The new Aveo 2024 will have a long list of rivals. In the case of the Sedan, it will have to face the Mirage G4, Changan Alsvin, MG5, Renault Logan, Suzuki Ciaz, among others. While the Hatchback will face Nissan March, Suzuki Baleno, as well as the upcoming Volkswagen Polo.
