youAs the Socma Group had anticipated at the end of last year, the importer continues with its schedule of launches planned for this year: to the new Chery Tiggo 8 PRO (see note), now the new JAC T8 is added, another of the brands represented by the company.
In this case, it is a medium pick up, more oriented towards work although with a fairly complete list of equipment, but available only with a 136 CV turbodiesel engine and manual gearbox.

The new:
It is the new medium pickup of the Chinese brand, which replaces the T6, with an evolution of design and technology. On an aesthetic level, the large trapezoid-type front grill stands out, which is the hallmark of JAC trucks. In general, its aesthetic is quite sober and simple, standing out for the projector headlights and the black plastic wheel arches.
Inside doors, it follows the same approach as the outside, with a simple and sober look, with eco-leather upholstery and aluminum-colored details to enhance its appearance. Its equipment both in terms of comfort and safety is correct, although it is only marketed in a single configuration.
Dimensions:
5,325 mm long, 1,880 mm wide, 1,830 mm high and 3,090 mm wheelbase. Load capacity: 900 kilos. Fuel tank capacity: 75 liters.
Versions:
It is marketed in a single version (Intelligent) with a turbodiesel engine, manual gearbox and 4×4 traction.
Comfort equipment:
Air conditioning, electric windows with one touch, central locking, multimedia system with 9” touch screen with Bluetooth/USB, keyless opening and ignition, on-board computer, cruise control, heated electric mirrors, front and rear fog lights , eco-leather upholstery, multifunction steering wheel, epoxy coating in cargo box and 18” alloy wheels.
Safety equipment:
Double front airbag, 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS/EBD/BA, traction control, stability control, hill-start assistance, tire pressure sensor and Isofix anchors.
Mechanics:
It is powered by a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine with Common Rail technology and intercooler, which develops 136 PS at 3,600 rpm and 320 Nm of torque between 1,600/2,600 rpm. It is coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 4×4 traction system with a reduction gear.
