Chirey’s sub-brand, Omoda is now an independent brand and is officially in Mexico
What’s happening?
Omoda was officially presented yesterday before national media in Mexico, together with distributors and executives of the brand.

The new Chinese firm made a display of lights, effects and a huge presentation to explain the pillars that make it up, the reason for its existence and more (we told you about all this in the interview we had with the brand’s executives).

I also confirm everything that we had already advanced to you in previous weeks in several notes, let’s do a recap.
Omoda in Mexico: How it starts and all the plans
- It confirms that the Chirey Omoda 5 will now be called the Omoda C5 and is part of its range.
- The prices for the Omoda C5 2024 are: Luxury $514,900 and Premium $576,900 pesos.
- The new sedan that is part of its range the Omoda O5 2024.
- The prices for the Omoda 05 2024: are Life $399,900 and Unlimited $455,900 pesos.
Reaffirms the arrival of upcoming releases:
- A new version of Omoda C5 with a new 1.6T engine with higher power.
- The Omoda 05 GT, the sporty variant of the sedan.
- The electric version of the SUV, the Omoda C5 EV.
He asserted thatue has 54 agencies under construction and 40 temporary points of sale.
And that the Jaecoo brand will soon arrive (of course with the Jaecoo 7 and Jaecoo 9).
