Everrati is a British company specializing in the restoration of classic cars, and for some time it has also been concerned with replacing the conventional powertrain with an electric one. The firm had already tried a Ford GT40; now he takes another icon of sportsmanship, the Porsche 911, and changes his boxer shorts for batteries.
The brand has just delivered a fully electric 911 964 in the United States. This restomod was made for the Californian company Aria Group that will be in charge of the commercialization. According to company sources, there will be many more units of the 964 for sale.
The 911 uses the 964 as a base but replaces some elements of the bodywork with others made of carbon fiber, which also allows it to have a widebody package. All this is crowned with an exotic blue color called Mexico Blue.
Under the hood, in the same location where the 911’s six-cylinder boxer engine is normally located, hides a self-developed electric powertrain, the specifications of which were not announced.
The brand did indicate that it allows the 0 to 60 miles per hour (0-96 km/h) in less than four seconds. A few months ago, Everrati had shown a 911 Convertible for the British market that was offered with 440 or 500 Hp.
This engine is powered by a 62 kWh capacity battery that, according to Everrati, It should allow about 320 kilometers of autonomy. It has a fast charging system (CC) or home (AC), with unspecified charging times.
To get an idea, an Everrati Porsche 911 964 was for sale in England for $300,000.
