Although the long career of the Renault Clio is expected to end with this generation, the B-segment hatchback presents its latest mid-life redesign.
applied on the fifth quegneration and built on the CMF-B platform, the model is highlighted by changes to the exterior, interior and more.
Renault Clio: Design of the E-Tech era

On its way to electrification, whose first 100% battery-powered manifesto is the Megane E-Tech, Renault is changing its aesthetics from rounded lines to more angular shapes, at least in the lower part of the front.
In the case of the Clio, the restyling especially attacks the front also taking elements such as those seen in the Concept Scenic Shown at the 2022 Paris Motor Show.
Aesthetically they stand out:
- DLR lights in the form of lines distributed as a half rhombus (outwards)
- LED headlights with without the previous delineated in C
- bigger grill
- Marks in half X (or diamond) in the lower part of the bumper
- Angular cut pseudo rear outlets
- Rear lighting redesign
In it interior the main changes go through ecology and digitization, including recycled or recyclable materials, and only 7-inch and 10-inch digital clusters. The multimedia equipment is for 7 or 9.3” screens arranged vertically.
Clio 2024: More electrified mechanics

In terms of impulse, the Clio left out two engines, the entry-level one and the most powerful, but it retains a turbodiesel, another that can function with liquefied gas (LPG) and the plug-in hybrid mechanics of 145 CV obtained by combining a combustion engine with two electric ones (49 and 24 Hp) that always start the march with the most powerful of the battery-powered duo.
Regarding the equipment, expect everything “expected” in a modern car for the Old Continent, from comfort, convenience and active safety / ADAS. As a novelty is the Spirit Alpine versiontop of the range with sporty details both outside and in the cabin.
Will we be facing the latest incarnation of the Renault Clio? We know that the new 100% electric Renault 5 is coming and also the new battery-powered 4L… Will there be room for the Clio name? Would you like to miss it?
