The Peugeot 205 turns 40 and it seems that every year that the counter goes up is like a new celebration. Be careful, this is not bad at all, quite the opposite. And more when we talk about one of the quintessential Peugeot cars. The next July 15all fans of the mythical utility will be able to pay tribute to the 40th anniversary and, incidentally, see Peugeot’s flight plan for the future… wink, wink.

40 years old, leader and inspirer of the generations of the 80s and 90s and thinking of his replacement (as in the Succession series, if you haven’t seen it, hurry up) Peugeot has prepared a party to commemorate the story and to celebrate the future A transition that will be reflected in an open day for all fans.
Located in a very aeronautical environment, in addition to seeing the historical models there will be a retrospective exhibition of the 205, photographic exhibitions and a guided tour of the aircraft collection of the Antonio Quintana Foundation.
What models can we see? The sample will feature the most legendary versions, starting with the sports GTi 1.6 and 1.9 which served as the basis for 205 Turbo 16 from Group B which swept the World Rally Championship in 1985 and 1986. As for the many special series, we can see, for example, the 205 Cabriolet with the indisputable Pininfarina stamp.
Last but not least: the successor. Let’s not spoil it, I’m going for the beginning of season 3 of Succession, but in this case, the one that will inherit the media empire will be the Peugeot e208 and Peugeot will present it for the first time at this party-tribute.
