At this beginning of the season Fernando Alonso has shone on the track with two podiums behind the wheel of Aston Martin and has left some ‘pearls’ on his social networks. He couldn’t be in a better mood. It is not for less.
First it was he hesitated to George Russell, one of his great friends on the grid, to ‘return’ him the Saudi Arabia podium trophy. And the last one was on the morning of this Monday responding to a tweet from F1.
The official account published an image upside down of the circuit of Albert Park, where this weekend the third test of the year is held. And Alonso responded with an image of him also rotated.
His fans were quick to react. “He’s having a great time”, he answered a follow. And so it is. At 41 years old, Alonso enjoys his day-to-day competition like never before.
