The Peugeot 308 is one of the most important models of the French firm. Although it now occupies a secondary position due to the prominence of SUVs, the truth is that the compact proved to be up to date thanks to the technologies that it incorporated. After the two plug-in hybrid versions, the electric e-308 was presented with an unprecedented propulsion system. Now comes the Peugeot e-308 First Edition to the market in the form of a launch edition that has practically all the equipment available.
One of the keys to this specimen is its level of exclusivity. Barely 20 units will arrive to the Spanish market and to buy them it will have to be done in a completely online process through the brand’s website. Having such a limited print run makes its price quite high, since the e-308 First Edition costs no less than €44,440. The positive part is that it benefits from an outstanding level of equipment and that it has a good number of specific elements. In fact, its configuration is quite closed, and the buyer will not have to think too much.
The reason is that the Peugeot e-308 First Edition is only available with the body painted in White Okenite and receives the new 18 inch wheels with Electra design and a finish in Orbital Black making contrast. Inside, the specific decoration of the special edition continues, as it receives upholstery Belomka green with details in black Alcantara and TEP Isabella, in addition to colored stitching Adamite. It is completed with aluminum sports pedals and door sills in the same material.
Comes standard with all the technology available to the compact, including the Peugeot i-Cockpit with a 10-inch touch screen and a digital instrumentation of the same size with 3D vision. On the other hand, the driving aids are very complete as they have the Drive Assist 2.0 pack. That translates into the provision of adaptive cruise control with Stop and Go function, the blind spot monitoring system or the rear traffic alert.
What does not change in this copy is the electric propulsion system with the new 156 hp engine. With the 51 kWh battery, it offers a range of up to 410 kilometers and comes with the two available chargers. There is the 11 kW three-phase, but also the most powerful, which is a Mode 3 to charge at 22 kW. In addition, with the Peugeot e-308 First Edition a 7.4 kW EasyWallBox charging point in the buyer’s garage and includes a warranty extension of 60 months or 75,000 kilometers.
