Tragedy in the world of motorsports. The young Dutch pilot Dilano van’t Hoff, of 18 years, has died after suffering a serious accident on the Spa-Francorchamps track, in Belgium.
The runner was disputing the fourth appointment of the FRECA, category lower than F2 and F3, when in the last moments of the second race he was involved in a tremendous accident in which Adam Fitzgerald, Enzo Scionti and Joshua Dufek were also involved.
It was at the entrance to Kemmel when Van’t Hoff stood in the middle of the track. Visibility, poor due to the large amount of water on the track. At that moment, Fitzgerald collided with him.
The test was immediately suspended. while the assists attended the pilots on the track.
Both were transferred to medical Center, but Van’t Hoff could not overcome the injuries caused by the accident.
The young driver, now at FRECA with the MP Motorsport team, managed to win Formula 4 Spanish also with the aforementioned team.

“We are very sad about what happened. Dilano has died in pursuit of his dream of reaching the top of motorsport. Our thoughts are with his family and his loved ones,” said Stefano Domenicali, F1 president.
