Since Fernando Alonso signed for Aston Martin Speculations about the performance of the car have been thousands. From the total pessimism of some for signing then for the penultimate team to those who are convinced that this is a winning project.

Alonso, in statements collected by ‘Motorsport’, stated that the team must change things in many areas: “A little everywhere. It is made up of the sum of lots of little perks.”
“From what has been on the market, Aston Martin is one of the teams that can achieve this goal in two or three years,” says the two-time Grand Circus champion.
He is aware that Aston Martin’s big leap must come as soon as possible, because at his 41 years he doesn’t have too many left at the highest level: “Of course, I would like to have a car with which can compete for the title. But there’s no place for me there.”
The relationship between Alonso and Aston Martin could extend beyond the tracks. The team has already commented on it on several occasions and now it has been the Spaniard: “If he doesn’t work as a driver, then maybe in a piece of paper out of the car.”
“If we then become world champions, that would also give me satisfaction, because then I could say that i helped build it. I am happy to start a new project and make it successful as soon as possible”, the Asturian has sentenced.
