Yamaha celebrated its Demo Day with its entire range on the track

Yamaha Motor de México an iconic name that has a great presence in our country, For this reason, it could not rest on its laurels and has finally begun to carry out activations, in addition to this it has to fight with a price increase that the brand had, placing it at the levels of Premium brands, something that did not leave its followers very happy. , but? Is this premium worth it compared to other Japanese brands or from many other countries that we already have in our market?

We arrived early at the Pegaso Dynamic Center where, as is customary, a product and safety talk was the start of the day. It should be noted that during this moment Yamaha pondered four models that are the ones that want to drive more, these are: FZ-X, FZ 3.0, FZ-25 and the R15Yes, at first we thought that only these would be on the track, but no, practically everything.

Before moving on to the emotional part, we tell you that the FZ-X is one of the newest and most interesting models in the range, it is based on the already recognized FZ, but this one gains a design that they call Neo Retro Vintagesince it achieves a classic aesthetic with elements and technology of the present, in addition to ABS brakes, without a doubt a motorcycle suitable for daily use but with a lot of style. This motorcycle is priced at $72,999 pesos.

The next in the FZ family is the 3.0, which is the evolution of the classic FZ-16, a motorcycle that revolutionized the market in the middle of the last decade, becoming a benchmark for city motorcycles with excellent fuel efficiency. This motorcycle gains a new fairing, and lights that bring it closer to the forms of the MT range. This bike costs $65,999 pesos.

We continue with the FZ25, which leaves behind the 150 cc engine of the aforementioned models and incorporates a 250 cc Although it is also suitable for the city, it can already allow for a small adventure trip, this motorcycle offers great comfort and ABS brakes with a price of $89,999, something that perhaps sounds high.

Lastly, we were quite bragged about the R15, a small sports that it is not only a great experience but it really has elements that make it suitable for a track or to start in the world of competitions. This bike is basically a mini R1, only with a 155cc engine and if that doesn’t seem like a lot to you, it’s actually a lot of fun. The cost is $99,999and we believe that it is worth it.

Now on the track I can only tell you that we had fun from the Fascino scooter from 125 cc to the Maxiscooter XMax 300 cc, from there to the FZ family where I can tell you that the FZ-X and FZ25 they are incredibly maneuverable and very responsive in tight cornering. Then we go to the entrance gate of the MT which is the MT-15 (same engine as the R15) but in naked format, a nervous, fast and very agile motorcycle that invites you to accelerate more and more no matter that it barely has 19 hp.

By the way we got to know the XT250 a tough dual-purpose motorcycle made to fight the bumps and bumps of the city, without losing comfort, or outright throwing yourself out onto the dirt road one day to have fun. To finish this block of motorcycles under 250 cc we had the R15, a small, very light motorcycle with great suspension and brakes that were a delight on the track.

The section for high displacement motorcycles went to MT-03, MT-07, MT-09, R3, R7, Tenere 700 and the Super Tenere 1200but well that will be another story to tell you, and yes, maybe we were too general in this text, but soon we will bring you the driving tests of each motorcycle, you know, in the best test, yes, in real life.
