Lunaz has carried out a one hundred percent electric conversion of one of the four Bentley S2 Continentals that exist.
Bentley is among the brands that have not yet made the leap to the electric car, but that Doesn’t mean you can’t drive a battery-powered Bentley. Of course, it will not be a modern car and, obviously, it will not come cheap.
To solve the mystery, we are talking about Bentley S2 Continental, a 1961 car, which the company Lunaz has electrified. Lunaz has performed a 100% electric conversion of what is believed to be one of only four 1961 S2 Continental Fixed Head Coupés ever made. An ultra rare specimen, which borders on the indecent price on the collectors market.
A 1961 car, now fully electric thanks to Lunaz

The British company specializing in restomods has retired the standard engine of the S2 Continental, a 6.2-liter V8, and It has been replaced by an electric motor with 406 hp and 719 Nm of torque that allow you to reach 100 km from a standstill in just 6.9 seconds.
At the same time, and to digest this barrage of power, the chassis has also received attention with the introduction of disc brakes and a regenerative braking system.
The interior is similar to the original carbut the materials are mostly recycled or natural: the mats are made from recycled nylon fibres, the backrests are made from plastic bottles, the leather has been tanned with olive leaves and the wood comes from sustainable, committed and certified plantations.

Your current range of electric conversions includes the Aston Martin DB6, the Jaguar XK and an all-electric Rolls-Royce Phantom. These conversions begin with a complete restoration from the ground up, reconfiguring each combustion vehicle’s chassis to support electrification while maintaining proper weight distribution and suspension.
