The D segment market has clearly turned towards SUVs. It is not news, but we are already talking about a type of car with a significant size and presence, where the brands play a good amount of benefits… especially the premium ones. Hence, the arrival of the Mercedes GLC 2023 in the large SUV segment is key for the brand… and for tall rivals such as the BMW X3 or the Audi Q5.
Of course, the generational change is noticeable in this Mercedes 2023. It is a larger car, with a large trunk and an interior that, in addition to being technological – like most of the brand’s products – goes up entirely in terms of quality. And watch out for the diesel engine. Pushes, is refined and spends little. It has it all, even the ECO label. Of course, having an AMG Line package, sports suspension and tires that grip little… is not the most appropriate in our opinion:
Those tires are not suitable for offroad use either, since the 4Matic traction works quite well… for wearing such bad shoes. And put to get fine, we are not convinced to use so much piano black in the interior. Especially since you pay dearly for it… Its price is one of the highest when compared with all-wheel drive diesel models of similar power:
