The start of the season Ferrari It is being difficult for the Italians. They have only managed to get on the podium once in the first eight races, a figure that is far from the objectives set at the beginning of the year.

Quite the opposite of what happened last year, when the men from Ferrari had a competitive car and could dispute the victories with the men from Red Bull. Precisely, the last of them occurred in the Austrian lands.

The 2022 Austrian GP witnessed Ferrari’s last ‘sorpasso’ in the ‘Gran Circo’. On that occasion, charles leclerc he had to beat on track max verstappen in a fast-paced battle that pushed both pilots to the limit.

There was also qualifying for the ‘sprint’ at that time, but Ferrari could only dominate on Sunday. Thanks to Leclerc’s great tire management he was able to climb to the top. However, those from Maranello could not get the double due to an engine problem that forced them to abandon Carlos Sainz.
