The Citroën Ami is very compact, measuring 2.41 meters long, 1.39 meters wide and 1.52 meters high, with a turning circle of 7.20 meters, making it ideal for the city. And what is better, due to its figures, it is not approved as a car but as an electric quadricycle, so in some countries, it can be driven by people from the age of 14.
The Citroën Ami is so versatile that we have already seen buggy-type versions and even models from other brands that take it as a base, such as Opel with its Rocks and FIAT with the Topolino.. NowCitroën has presented a concept of the Ami adapted to provide mobility for people with disabilities who are wheelchair users.
The vehicle added necessary equipment to assist in entering and exiting the wheelchair, as well as the inclusion of manual acceleration and braking controls, also added to a knob on the steering wheel to facilitate turning. Depending on the brand, the wheelchair can be transported inside or outside the passenger compartment.

The project was developed in conjunction with mobility conversion specialists PIMAS in association with Citroën and is on display at the Atonomic show in Paris.
