LEWIS HAMILTON, SURRENDERED TO FERNANDO ALONSO
Despite the clashes they have had between the two throughout their careers, Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton respect each other and recognize each other’s successes. The Briton praised the Aston Martin car, acknowledging that it is one of the best drivers.

After all the penalties, the final grid order is as follows:
LANCE STROLL AND YUKI TSUNODA, ALSO SANCTIONED
The last drivers to be penalized on the grid are Lance Stroll and Yuki Tsunoda. The Canadian loses three positions for getting in the way of Esteban Ocon during Q2 and will start 16th. Same penalty for Yuki Tsunoda, in his case for hindering Charles Leclerc, and he will start from 19th position.
NICO HÜLKENBERG, SANCTIONED WITH THREE POSITIONS
The German driver was delighted with second position on the grid, but the Haas stewards were waiting for him to spoil the celebration. He was penalized with three positions for not meeting the estimated time under a red flag and will eventually start fifth. Fernando Alonso wins his position and will start second.
CARLOS SAINZ, THREE SANCTION POSITIONS
The Madrid driver received a three-position penalty for disturbing Pierre Gasly in Q1, who was eliminated. Despite the penalty for the Ferrari, the Alpine driver did not drop his heart rate and showed his tremendous anger with Sainz.
