Hyundai introduced the sixth generation of the Accent in Indiaa model known in that market as Verna. Hyundai’s claims with this new model are very high, especially due to the design and equipment that this model will display, seeking to be a benchmark in the segment.
Hyundai Verna/Accent 2023: dimensions and design

- Long: 4,535mm
- Broad: 1,765mm
- High: 1,475mm
- Distance between axis: 2,670mm
- Trunk: 528L
According to Hyundaithis new Accent it surpasses all its rivals in size. It has grown 70 mm between axles and 36 mm in width, all to offer the best cabin. The trunk is also one of the largest in the category.
Its design can be summarized in that it is a “Mini Elantra“. In fact, it features the same complex door folds that are part of the brand’s parametric design concept. The H-shaped taillights with an LED stripe that runs along the tailgate are also reminiscent of the Elantra, as is the stretched roofline.
On the front, we have a front dominated by a very thin and continuous LED lightwhich runs through the entire mask and reminds us of the Staria. Hyundai declares that this is the first time such a design has been used in a car in this segment. The grille has been relegated to a large air intake, flanked by two main headlights suspended in its corners, achieving a very futuristic and sporty look, nothing further from the current design.
Other details include power folding mirrors, alloy wheels, a fin-type antenna and bright details, whether in piano black or satin aluminum.

Inside the revolution is total, with a horizontal console slightly oriented towards the driver and with a minimalist design. The most equipped versions will have an integrated panel with two 10.25″ screensthose that show the multimedia system and the instrument panel.
Under the air vents, we find a module that allows the air conditioning to be operated, but that can also be transformed into the commands of the multimedia system, a solution that we have already seen in other cars of the South Korean group (Hyundai and Kia).
