The Mercedes-AMG G63 Grand Edition is a special version, with aesthetic novelties, of which only 1,000 units will be manufactured.

Mercedes has just presented a new limited edition of its popular AMG G63. Baptized as Grand Edition, only 1,000 units will be made and it is striking because it will be offered exclusively in black Manufaktur night magno with gold details.

These golden details take on a special role in the Mercedes-Benz sports 4×4 as they are present in the 22-inch cross-spoke wheels and in both the Mercedes star and the AMG logo on the front. Likewise, we see gold inserts on the bumper, skid plate and distinctive side graphics. All this as a complement to the jet black color that presides over the bodywork.

The color scheme is maintained in the interior, although the gold is more subtle, limiting its presence to the contrast stitching, logos and backs. Most of the interior is black Nappa Manufaktur leather, right down to the grab bars, and much of the upholstery is carbon fiber with copper thread.

Mechanically nothing changes. The Mercedes-AMG G63 Grand Edition continues to maintain the famous Mercedes 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine that declares 585 HP of power and 850 Nm of maximum torque, a propellant that allows this vehicle of more than two and a half tons to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and have a top speed of 220 km/h.

At the same time, the German car company has also presented a Mercedes G500 Final Edition, with 1,500 units in total, divided into 500 units of each of the colors: Olive Magno, Obsidian Black and Opalith White. With them they celebrate the 30 years of the 500, a model that, according to Mercedes, “set a trend” and was nothing less than “the forerunner of the high-end SUV in the luxury class.”

These two new models can now be orderedalthough at the moment only prices and availability in Germany have been confirmed.
