Netflix has released the trailer for ‘All the times we fell in love’ before the premiere on February 14 and everything indicates that the new youth romantic comedy is going to win over lovers of the genre. Carlos Montero has spent many years demonstrating that he knows how to communicate with the youth audience and his new series for the platform continues in that vein.
With less intrigue and murder than his previous works and a more nostalgic point, the trailer shows a preview of the relationship that Irene and Julio are going to experience, the protagonists played by Georgina Amorós (‘Elite’) and Franco Masini (‘Rebelde’). . While ‘Turnedo’ by Iván Ferreiro plays in the background, Irene explains that the protagonists “are going to fall in love many times because they are going to leave each other many times”, and hence the title. Together with them, we will see a large cast of young performers like Albert Salazar (‘The boarding school: Las Cumbres’), Carlos González (‘Maricón perdido’), Blanca Martínez and Roser Vilajosana (‘Those from the tunnel’).
The eight episode romantic comedy follows Irene, an aspiring film director whose life takes a 180-degree turn when she leaves her town to study in Madrid. There she will meet those who will soon be her best friends and Julio, the perfect protagonist for her movies and also for her life. The story begins in 2003, but extends to the present day. From Netflix they define ‘All the times we fell in love’ as a song to love, to the one who hurts and to the one who heals; to friendship, that which becomes your family; and dreams, even if they are not fulfilled or not in the way you expected.
