ANDhe 208 is a sales success in our country for various reasons, to the product’s own attributes such as its attractive design and a full complement of equipment, good availability is added as it is produced at the El Palomar plant, a great advantage over rivals imported from Brazil. The hatchback is the leader in its segment and is the second best-selling vehicle on the market and to continue consolidating itself, Peugeot decided to add a new –although well-known- version to its portfolio.
This is the 208 Style, which was previously marketed as a special series of 1,500 units and which will now become part of the permanent range of the model, being precisely one of the most convenient options since it is positioned intermediately, combining the equipment of the Active variant together with items taken from the top of the Feline range that enhance its aesthetics and sophistication.
In this regard, Franklin Bendahan, brand manager of Peugeot Argentina, stated: “Today we are adding the Peugeot 208 Style to the complete 208 range, due to the great success it had as a special series in 2022. Located at the heart of the B-Hatch segment, this variant is distinguished by the use of colours, specific materials and exclusive design-oriented details. All this, together with the outstanding equipment that it incorporates from the Active version, gives it a sporty and modern look”.

The new:
As we pointed out before, the main novelty of the return of the 208 Style to the range is that it now becomes a new version that will form part of the portfolio permanently and not a special series like its predecessor (see contact). It is based on the Active version to which it adds a more sophisticated and sporty look with details such as the full Led headlights of the Feline version, alloy wheels painted in glossy black along with the mirror housings, rear spoiler, Style emblem on C-pillar, grille finished in black chrome and the Artense Gray body color, exclusive for this variant.
Inside doors, it stands out for its extra equipment, with the multimedia system with a new 10.25” screen (with mirror screen, video playback, fixed vertical keypad on the sides), wireless charger, upholstery with contrasting stitching and carpets Style and reverse camera with 180º vision.
Comfort equipment:
Automatic climate control, multimedia system with 10.25” All in one touch screen with Mirror Link plus 2 USB ports, full Led headlights, speed regulator and limiter, panoramic roof, sensors and parking camera with 180º vision, i-cockpit 3D, wireless charger, 16” alloy wheels, among other items.
Safety equipment:
4 airbags (front and side), brakes with ABS/EBD/BA, stability control and Isofix/Top Tether anchors.
Mechanics:
Without news in this regard, it maintains the well-known 1.6 VTi gasoline engine that develops 115 CV and 150 Nm of torque. It can be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission with torque converter.
