A few weeks ago we announced the arrival of new Chinese brands in Mexico, Omoda and Jaecoo to our country. Now these signatures bring us another piece of news.
What’s happening?
The first stone of the Omoda Jaecoo Ecatepec agency was laid, this as part of the car marketing strategy of said brands and marks the beginning of the deployment to build other distributors in Mexico.
This first Omoda Jaecoo agency belongs to Grupo Andrade, which has been selling cars in the country for 95 years.
Bryan Wu, vice president of Omoda Mexico, Miguel Iglesias, general director of the automotive division of Grupo Andrade and Fernando Vilchis Contreras, municipal president of Ecatepec, were present at the start-up ceremony.
The distributor will be located at avenue via Morelos, number 843, Santa Clara Coatitla, in the municipality of Ecatepec de Morelos, State of Mexico.
“We are sure that Omoda Jaecoo Ecatepec will actively contribute to the development and expansion of our avant-garde brands in the country, offering an important range of vehicles that are characterized by meeting the highest international quality standards, having the latest technology generation and extensive security for all occupants”, commented Bryan Wu, vice president of Omoda Mexico.
With this action, Omoda & Jaecoo reiterate their intention to increase participation in the automotive industry and the commitment to offer vehicles with a focus where technology, design and connectivity are the pillars.
Let’s remember that Omoda was a sub-brand within Chirey, but the manufacturer decided to separate it to give it its own space as an identity. Same case that SEAT did at the time with Cupra.
