Tragedy in the world of motorsports. Ken Blockrally driver known for his stunts, has died at the age of 55 after a car accident snowmobile which took place in Utah, during a descent.
His team, the Hoonigan, has announced it in a statement: “It is with our deepest regret that we can confirm that Ken Block has died today in a snowmobile accident.”
“Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon. And most importantly, a father and husband. He will be incredibly missedsays the note.
Authorities have reported that Ken lost control and his motorcycle overturned: “He died at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident.”
Block has participated in two world championships WRC and Rallycross. But, without a doubt, he is best known for his challenge videos on the internet. The ‘Gymkhana’ video series accumulated millions of views on YouTube, with obstacle courses and extremely dangerous challenges.
