Schedule and where to watch on TV

The wait is over. The Formula 1 World Championship begins with the Bahrain Grand Prix. This Friday the first two free practice sessions will take place prior to qualifying on Saturday and the big race next Sunday, March 5.

And everyone looks at Aston Martin and Fernando Alonso. It is unavoidable. It is the car that has surprised the most this preseason, even improving Ferrari’s times in the long run. The Spaniard was faster than Carlos Sainz and charles leclerc. And most importantly: the green car degrades the tires less.

Red Bull starts as the great favorite for another year. No one seems to cough up a max verstappen who is already looking askance at his third world championship. Sergio Pérez will have another opportunity, although defeating the Dutchman has already shown that it is not easy.

Regarding Mercedes, they seem somewhat lost. Neither lewis hamilton neither George Russell they were among the best in preseason. Toto Wolff has not hidden and has acknowledged that they will change a large part of the car’s design after the first races.

Hours and where to see

On Friday the 3rd, practice with Free Practice 1 will begin. The first session will be held from 12:30 p.m. (Spanish time) and the second from 4:00 p.m.

All training sessions and the race can be followed on the special device of the sixth for Formula 1. In addition, it can be seen on television on the ‘DAZN F1’ channel.
