During the fifth month of the year, the sale of zero kilometer vehicles amounts to 102,697 units, according to the AMIA and AMDA. Comparing this same period, but in the past year where they were placed 91,215 unitswe can see that it increased 12.6%.
Nissan continues its reign as the best-selling brand in Mexico and has 18.3% market share. General Motors is in second place and has 13.1% of the market while Volkswagen Group is in third place with 11.1%.

If we compare this month against last April, we can see that Renault does not appear in the count because the information is not available so Ford takes its place.
Stellantis and Toyota exchange positions so they are now located in the sixth and fourth box respectively. The same goes for Mazda and MG Motor coming in seventh and eighth.

Although lately there has been talk of the “true Top 10 sales of automotive brands”, let’s take into account that General Motors does not break down by brand, while Stellantis only divides between Alfa Romeo, Peugeot and CDFJR (the sum of between Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep and Ram) so we cannot have the exact data to put together a different count.
