The Land Rover Defender range is renewed this year with the 130 Outbound, Defender 130 V8 and Defender 110 County exterior pack versions.

The Land Rover Defender range is premiering with the addition of new variants: this is the Defender 130 Outbound, the Defender 130 V8 and the Defender 110 County exterior pack.

While the conventional Defender 130 seats eight people, the Outbound variant starts from the same bodywork, suppressing the third row of seats, offering seating for five and providing additional luggage capacity, which now holds 1,329 liters with the second row of seats upright, or 2,516 liters with the second row folded.

This is the great novelty of this variant, although we cannot ignore the exclusive exterior design details of the Defender 130 Outbound, such as a Shadow Atlas matte finish applied to its bumpers and grille insert, an Anthracite finish for the grilles side ventilation and 20-inch gloss black wheels. To choose, monochrome exterior paint in Fuji White, Santorini Black, Carpathian Gray and Eiger Grey.

Inside, there is aRubber mat that can be unfolded over the rear bumper to protect it from scratches when loading and unloading the trunk with bulky items, while anchor points and a new cargo net help secure outdoor gear. Additional storage areas help secure smaller items out of sight from outside the vehicle.

The Land Rover Defender 130 Outbound continues to have a towing capacity of 3,000 kgand hooking the tow hook is facilitated by the air suspension that allows the vehicle to be raised or lowered from switches located inside the tailgate.

The electronically controlled air suspension The Defender 130 Outbound maintains 430mm of articulation and a fording depth of up to 900mm, with off-road capability facilitated by Intelligent AWD, Terrain Response 2 and Adaptive Dynamics.

As for the engines, the Defender 130 Outbound offers an inline six-cylinder gasoline engine P400 400 hp/500 Nm or the six-cylinder in-line diesel engine D300 300 hp/650 Nm; both are mild hybrids and are offered across the rest of the Defender range.

Also added to the range is the Defender V8, which incorporates the familiar 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine in P500 trim, resulting in power output of 500 hp and 610 Nm of torque. This allows a time from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds.

Finally, the Defender 110 adds the county outdoor pack, which is inspired by the original Defender County, with design elements selected as a nod to the model’s heritage. The County exterior pack is offered for the Defender 110 in its S, SE and HSE trim levels, with County graphics applied to the doors and bodywork and illuminated running boards with the County graphic.

The color combinations available for this Land Rover they include Fuji White which is combined with Tasman Blue; Santorini Black with Tasman Blue contrast finish; and Tasman Blue with White contrast finish. The interior trim of the 2024 Defender 110 equipped with the County package features Robustec veneer, while the Defender’s distinctive interior cross member can be specified in light gray or white.
