According to the latest report on figures for theft of insured vehicles, issued by the Mexican Association of Insurance Institutions (AMIS), during In 2022, the theft of 60,523 insured units nationwide was recorded.
From January to December 2022, an average of 166 insured vehicles were stolen per day.
The State of Mexico continues in the first position of the entities with the highest number of stolen insured units with 16,973 units, while Jalisco is in second position with 9,797 units, and Mexico City ranks third with 4,863 units.
6 states concentrate 65.6% of stolen insured units.
