The market shows greater dynamism with more operations closed compared to last year’s edition.
Positive balance for the fifteenth edition of the Selection Occasion Vehicle Fair of Valencia. The quintessential event in the used car market, pre-owned, km 0 and management closes its doors this afternoon at 8:00 p.m. with a balance of nearly a thousand units sold. In fact, at noon today there were already 920 cars sold in the absence of accounting for the cars that can be purchased this afternoon, when many of the pending operations on Friday and Saturday end up being formalized. This figure represents a slight increase compared to the 817 cars that were sold in last year’s edition and evidence of a certain recovery in the second-hand market, as some official studies have already pointed out, such as the one presented by GANVAM on Friday at this same fair, which points to a growth in this market in the Valencian Community of 2% compared to 2022.
“The second-hand market trend is positive and, as we have seen historically throughout all its editions, the fair is a true reflection of the market, enhancing its character as a sales and business platform”, points out the president of the hall, Enrique Tomás. In this sense, the Valencian businessman indicates that “we have spoken with various exhibitors at the fair who have informed us that, in moderation, in general terms they show satisfied with the volume of sales registered in this edition of the second-hand vehicle show. Now -he points out- we must continue working to strengthen the fair for the next appointment in December”.
On the other hand, the Selection Occasion Vehicle Fair has also registered an increase in its visitor figures compared to the last edition. Thus, at noon today, the 1,100 visitsas opposed to the 9,300 registered in 2022 in which the used show was held alone and not together with the custom car contest ‘eurocrew‘, which has been held this year together and has activated many visitors and fans of the motor world. In addition, many of the attendees at the ‘Sport Woman’Women’s Career Fair that was also held on Friday and Saturday in Fair Valenciahave been able to visit the car contest since for each bib number the show gave out two free tickets to the contest.
