Formula 1 storyteller Antonio Lobato fired the illusion this Thursday by stating that “the Aston Martin is going to be very spectacular” and that “He’s going to take a very big leap forward.”
With the arrival of Fernando Alonso and the new project carried out under the direction of Dan Fallows and Eric Blandinfrom Silverstone they hope to surprise in 2023… although there are already several teams that ‘smell’ what can happen.
This is how Lobato explained it in ‘Soy Motor’: “Rumor has reached me that things are going pretty well at Aston Martin. Hey, let’s not go crazy. I am not saying that they are going to win races or that I am going to fight for the championship. I think all three – Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes – are going to be ahead.”
According to the narrator, it is the mechanics and engineers of other teams who fear the evolution of the green team.
“It’s not me saying it, nor anyone from Aston Martin, but people who are in other teams. The factories are very close together and there are pubs where mechanics, engineers meet… and talk. There are some teams that believe that Aston Martin is going to be up there with Alpine and McLaren this year,” he added.
Of course, it will not be until March 5 in Bahrain when the moment of truth arrives: “Until the cars go out on the track, we will not know anything.
