A new type of radar, known as thermal radar, is being tested in France and could reach Spain: find out what it is like and how fine it is.
Currently, drivers face various types of speed cameras while driving: fixed speed cameras, section speed cameras, belt speed cameras and mobile speed cameras. However, a new type of cinemometer could debut on our roads shortly, thermal radar.
For now, it is in tests in France throughout this year. Based on its results, this device could be implemented in different European cities and reach our country. The main objective of this type of radar is to discourage the use of private cars and encourage the use of public transport or shared transport.

But what are thermal radars and how do they work? These are cinemometers that incorporate powerful thermal sensors that are capable of detect the number of occupants in a car.
