Less than a week remains to discover the new Aston Martin of Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll. And to liven up the wait until February 13, when they will hold the event and show the car, the British team has uploaded a video with the sound of the new engine.
While Alonso was shooting with the AMR22 in Jerezin the UK factory they were starting the new engine and checking that everything was correct.
Mark GrayAston Martin’s head of construction and assembly, has described what it was like to hear the roar of the AMR23: “It’s the most important day of the whole car build. We’ve started the engine for the first time, which is exciting to see.”
“It’s a turning point Because that’s when the car comes to life. We have made everything work separately and now we have put it together and you see the car take shape,” added Gray.
And in the published video, many fans have noticed the happiness on the faces of most engineers when listening to the engine. In special to Dan Fallowstechnical director of Aston Martin, who is seen in a very smiling image with what he is seeing.
All these smiles will have a confirmation or not when the car starts rolling in Bahrain in the pre-season test that will take place between February 23 and 25.
