Great morning session for Fernando Alonso in Bahrain. The Asturian finished in second position behind ‘Czech’ Perez and ahead of Max Verstappen.
The two-time world champion Formula 1 He has stayed just four tenths behind the Mexican, while his partner, Lance Stroll, is over sixth.
These results, which are by no means conclusive proof that Aston Martin go fight for victory in Sakhir, they do show a reality: those of Silverstone are closer to the head than to the middle zone.
Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, Carlos Sainz… they all come to Fernando Alonso as a clear candidate to fight for the podiums.
