The future of Nissan will be fully electrified, that has been anticipated for several years. I know they have focused on crossovers since the unprecedented success obtained with the Qashqai and since the general public demands so much this type of bodywork. In fact, they have reduced their range by eliminating some sports models that had been niche. That does not mean that in the future they will not appear again, because now they present the Nissan Max Out Concept to show that electrification can also have a soul.
It’s about a two-seater convertible prototype It looks like something out of a science fiction movie. The last model without a roof that Nissan had was the 370Z Roadster, which disappeared in 2019. Although the production of this prototype does not seem very feasible, the truth is that it opens new doors, at least in terms of design. It was already shown digitally in 2021 along with other copies such as Chill-Out, Surf-Out and Hang-Out; although now it is the first time that a model is made in the physical world and on a real scale.
draws attention to its flowing body shapes or by unconventional elements. It is worth naming this fully faired grill with a rectangular shape that is repeated at the rear of the car. On the other hand, the wheel arches have been generously widened and sculpted to allow some wheels with aerodynamic hubcaps and a really hypnotic pattern. The curved bumper is small and you cannot see the system for opening and closing the roof, if it exists.
The interior of the Nissan Max-Out Concept is just as striking thanks to two floating seats that unfold and a decoration that continues with the psychedelic style. The steering wheel looks like a video game because of its size and because it is flattened both above and below, while there is a giant screen that occupies practically the entire dashboard. It should not be noted that this type of vehicle has autonomous driving technology. No details have been given about the electric propulsion system, but presumably it would be the benchmark for the brand in terms of performance.
