The celebration we wouldn’t mind materializing

The lower part, including the brakes and axles, comes from an Audi A1, while the design is Audi Design artwork. There is even talk of details such as that the rear wing is attached directly to the roll cage and not to the body as in other copies. The interior is an ode to racing vehicles, as it is very minimalist and has what is strictly necessary. That includes some Recaro Podium seats bucket type and a screen that serves as an on-board computer.

More interesting are its entrails, since it no longer has the 30 hp two-cylinder gasoline engine that was in the NSU Prinz in the rear position. now there has an electrical block that comes from the Audi e-tron 2019 linked to a battery of the Audi Audi Q7 TFSIe. They are 240 CV of power and 17.3 kWh of capacity in its battery, although the brand has not seen fit to give data on its benefits or autonomy. They do say that the battery goes under the front hood and that it has worked a lot on refrigeration.

For the realization of the NSU EP4 Concept, advanced techniques such as 3D printing and ambitious materials such as carbon fiber have been used. Serves as a design exercise only and as a celebration of the 150th anniversary of Neckarsulm, since there are no intentions to make a production version or to revive NSU. It is more of a project that demonstrates the talent of its youth and also the attachment they have to their past history.
