Lamborghini is one of those manufacturers that have been allowed to delay electrification a bit. Although they finally have to go through the hoop and work on a hybrid range that can survive with the strict regulations. In a few weeks a new model will arrive with the new technology, but before that they will give a farewell in conditions to the atmospheric V12 which has always been his personal pride. He does it through Invincible and Authentic Lamborghinitwo really special specimens.
In fact, these are unique models, two one off in a different format that will delight two lucky buyers. The Lamborghini Invincible is the red coupe and the Authentic is the gray roadster, both with a differential design language. Although they use the same platform as the Lamborghini Aventador, their lines have been inspired by those of other limited edition models. Remember in different areas the Sesto Elemento, Reventón and Veneno; although he also makes other winks.
The Lamborghini Invincible and Auténtica use a carbon fiber monocoque, a material that it also makes up its bodywork. At the front you can see a hood in the style of the Essenza SCV12, with a very pronounced splitter and appendages to improve its aerodynamics. The front headlights take a very vertical shape, while the rear ones opt for the hexagonal motif, something that is repeated in various parts of the cars. The behind is also very marked thanks to the spoiler and a triple exhaust outlet in a central position.
Inside a more minimalist and simple design is opted for. It blends in with the exterior with heavy doses of carbon fiber or 3D-printed hexagonal air vents. The upholstery also matches the chosen colours. The Lamborghini Invincible has a mixed leather Rosso Alala and Alcantara in Nero Cosmuswhile the Authentic opts for two-tone black and Alcantara leather upholstery grigio octans.
As we already said, it sits on the platform of the Aventador and that means that it has the 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 in center position. The Invincible and Authentic Lamborghini are the last to carry that engine without electrification, before the full hybrid era arrives. Has 780 hp and 720 Nm of torque, always linked to a seven-speed ISR gearbox and all-wheel drive. They have not revealed their benefits and neither the price of these copies.
