The AIM EV Sport 01, a high-performance electric car that is the work of Shiro Nakamura, the designer of the Nissan GT-R or the Cube.
Shiro Nakamura is a Japanese designer, former Head of Design at Nissan, who doesn’t like to be pigeonholed. Capable of conceiving models as diverse as a Nissan Cube or an R35 GT-R, now, with his own company, he has just presented the AIM EV Sport 01a high-performance electric car that has made its dynamic debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Technically, it is an electric two-seater sports car that is less than 4 meters long (3.9 m long, 1.9 m wide and 1.2 m high, with a wheelbase of 2.4 m ), with rear-wheel drive and a single electric motor with 483 HP of power and 740 Nm of torque, installed on the rear axle. According to the Japanese company, it is possible that this power can rise to 600 CV.

The responsible designer himself, Nakamura, points out that “the idea of the AIM EV Sport 01 was to be fast and pleasant to drive. Although the general trend for electric vehicles is all-wheel drive, the character of this car called for a rear-wheel drive setup.”

And he adds “Having created our own series of advanced electric motors, the AIM EV Sport 01 is also the perfect way to showcase our expertise in developing advanced powertrains. I am really looking forward to personally driving the car at Goodwood this year.”
