ANDhe Commander It is a success inside and outside the country: with more than 30,000 units produced in the Brazilian plant in Pernambuco, in Argentina it has sold more than 700 units, a remarkable figure considering its price and positioning. To continue along the same path and strengthen its presence, Jeep introduced a new version to the range, based on the Limited equipment level, but with the T270 gasoline engine, with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, while the rest of the the range is available with the Multijet diesel engine and all-wheel drive.

The new:
It is a new version that joins the Commander range, positioning itself as the most accessible option. It maintains the equipment of the Limited version, but with the 175 hp T270 gasoline engine, with a sixth-speed automatic gearbox and front-wheel drive, while the rest of the portfolio has a diesel engine, a nine-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive.
The differences are minimal: it adds a chrome side molding and inside, being only 4 × 2, it lacks the commands to engage the four-wheel drive.
Versions:
With the addition of this new variant, the range is made up of three versions, one with a gasoline engine and front-wheel drive and two diesel, with all-wheel drive, maintaining the Limited and Overland equipment levels.

For their part, the Limited TD380 and Overland TD380 versions maintain the Multijet 2.0 turbodiesel engine with 170 hp and 380 Nm of torque, coupled to an automatic transmission with a 9-speed torque converter and 4×4 traction with terrain selector and option 4WD lock.
